SSSA is actively collaborating with the Italian NGO, Doctors with Africa CUAMM, on the promotion of integrated models of care between hospital and territory in projects involving the analysis and strengthening of capacities for the management of health services in four rural settings, respectively in Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Uganda.
There are currently two active projects aiming at: consolidating the implementation of a health care performance evaluation system at hospital and health district level, designed and developed since 2019; and improving child delivery management through training courses employing high-fidelity physical simulators provided to the nursing school of the Saint Luke Hospital in Wolisso, Ethiopia. The major aim is to enhance the quality of care scaling up clinical staff skills and supplying effective tools to keep the advancements and to be transmitted over time.
