Biography

Eleonora Annunziata is Associate Professor of Management at the Institute of Management – Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Italy (SSSA). She is a member of the Laboratory of Sustainable Management (SUM) (2008-ongoing) and co-leader of the “Energy and Resource Efficiency” research area at the SSSA. She has worked in the sustainability field by carrying out national and international projects with a focus on the sustainable entrepreneurial dimension,  innovative business models for sustainable energy in developed and developing countries, sustainable supply-chain management, and eco-innovation since 2008. Currently, She is involved in two co-operative Europe-Africa projects: 1) LEAP-RE (H2020): identification of business models for supporting the development of geothermal energy in remote rural communities; 2) Africamaval (Horizon Europe): development of strategies for supporting sustainable African-European supply chains for critical raw materials. She has been a member of the EERA Joint Programme on the Economic, Environmental and Social Impacts of Energy Policies and Technologies (e3s) and the Joint Programme on Geothermal energy since 2013. She was awarded the Special mention – 2015 Emerald/EMRBI Business Research Award for Emerging Researchers. She is the author and co-author of around 40 publications in peer-reviewed international and national journals and conference proceedings.
