Francesco Lamperti is Assistant Professor at the Institute of Economics of Sant’Anna School of Adavnced Studies (Pisa, Italy) and Scientist at the RFF-CMCC European Institute on Economics and the Environment (Milan, Italy). His research interests lie at the crossroads of macroeconomics, finance and climate change. He uses both modeling and empirical approaches to assess climate risks and climate policies. He is interested in the study of the relationship between climate change, extreme weather, land use and development in the African continent, as well as on the measurement of poverty and inequality.
