Gilbert Koskey is a researcher at the Center of Plant Sciences. His Ph.D. focused on developing innovative ways of enhancing below-ground biodiversity to regenerate and restore soil biofertility and health, and how this can help meet food and nutritional needs. His research experience in Africa focused on optimizing plant-soil-microbial interactions and use of agroecological approaches to provide solutions to food security challenges in semi-arid areas of Kenya.
